Meet Your Instructors

Why do we do these retreats?

We are very passionate about yoga and the magic that it can create. A retreat is all about immersion. When you do something every day for 7 days, change happens. When you are part of a group that is there for the same reasons, to re-boot and re-set, change happens. When the food that you are eating is clean and nourishing, and the guidance is authentic and meaningful, change happens. When Mother Earth wraps her arms around you at Peace Retreat you will change, it’s unstoppable. It doesn’t just happen that week, you take it with you and share it with others.

It’s all about change, we see it in every single person who has come on our retreats.  Choose change and come to Peace Retreat with us. .

What does it look like to retreat with Annie and Audra?

Annie and Audra have known each other since 2007 creating an unbreakable bond through their life experiences in Africa, their love of yoga and all that it has taught them.

When you retreat with Audra and Annie you are committing to being open and willing to spend a week believing in your self and the magic of who you are.

Annie and Audra are the perfect combination, one will challenge whilst the other holds space for the break throughs and revelations. Audra and Annie  create their teachings from a connection to the earth and all that mother nature can teach us. They will challenge you to think beyond your habitual patterns, to strip back the past and shine brightly into the future. The yoga practices are rich and powerful, weaving themes and ceremony through out.  There will be crying,  laughing, dancing, sweating, and should you choose, adventures. Oh, and for sure there be rain!!!!

June is officially the beginning of Costa Rica’s rainy season, or “green season.” Rain will (undoubtedly) be somewhat more frequent in June. … Temperatures during June will continue to vary from roughly 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit (18-32 Celsius) during the day, and about 10-15 degrees cooler during the night.

June is a very good month to visit Costa Rica. … In June most days start off clear and sunny. Any rain that falls generally does so in the late afternoon.
